This Zoo at Giza is supposed to be fantastic. It focuses on promoting environmental awareness in Egypt and has an amazing number of exotic animals as well as imported plants and a museum. This zoo was actually built way back in 1891 and is supposed to be quite the sight, with mosaics and murals and pebble-paved paths. Has anyone been there? It sounds lovely.
