Hi Rik....... it was a pleasure to meet you and your wife and I hope we get a chance to meet again one day.
We enjoyed the rest of our holiday, including the mini cruise we also took. And for every one else's benefit, the only reason we were drinking lemon juice was because we had walked from one end of Luxor to the other as neither myself nor my daughter had anything less than a 100LE note.... and could not be bothered arguing with taxi drivers for change. So we decided to walk, completely forgetting the heat! Thirst dictated fresh lemon........ the gin and tonics came later!
