If the whales did walk how long could they stay out of water, what did they eat, would they reproduce the same way, etc. If there were bones in the sand they would most likely have been slowly eroded into the sand and never to have been seen again. Is it possible to test the sand and see if the sand is slightly different and if it was once part of a bone?
