Another place where you would see a lot of families together - especially in the summer is Muntazah Park in Alexandria, another retreat away from the busy city. It used to belong to King Farouk but became public after the Revolution. You can also see Muntazah Palace which was his summer residence. The park itself has loads of date palms, its so green there, also you will see people fishing there by the sea.
