The Egyptian Book of the Dead is a book filled with tons of spells the Egyptians thought they would need in the afterlife. It was placed in every tomb for the people who could afford it. It is called the book of the dead because they thought that after you passed on you supposedly gain powers and the book is supposedly used by the dead. Basically for the dead in the afterlife. I have the actual book or a repica i might be able to copy it online but it would take a very long time.
