Sounds really neat, even though I won't be able to make it to that show in particular. Do they have fashion trade shows often?

I guess they don't have them all that often. When I googled "Egypt fashion show" today, I got this page:

I think the site is about the textile industry.

My understanding is that the Egyptian women dress much more conservatively than in many of the other areas of the world, so in that respect, I'm guessing the Fashion Industry would be somewhat limited. I'm fairly sure you won't be seeing any skimpily clad women on the runway!

Depends! I've seen younger Egyptian women is the same skimpy things we see in the US during hot weather. Loads of halter tops, and shorts.
