I heard that there's been lighting added to some of the pyramids. My first thought was to question changing them at all, but I assume the lights illuminate the pyramids from a distance, and haven't affected them otherwise.

Does anyone here know if lighting was added recently?

Has anyone got the pyramid cam on their favourites? Always worth a look particularly in the evenings when you can see the Sound and Light show taking place.

That reminds me of Google Earth. I've spent some time looking at landmarks there, but I don't think I've checked out the pyramids.

We've looked up many landmarks on Google Earth... both for places we've been and still want to see. I'm pretty sure we looked at the pyramids, yes. I'm trying to remember if we tried to find the Sphinx or not. Anyhow, this is a great link, and thank you for posting it. I'll try to catch the light show... right now it's 6:15 p.m. in Egypt so I'll have to just wait a little while.

I think I'm going to have to download Google Earth myself to see if I can find the pyramids. Sounds like fun!
