Dahab the place of magic

Just posted this on the Turkish sister forum for someone asking about dahab. wanted you all to share it with me.

I will give you a hint in here , but if you really want to learn more please join the Egyptian sister forum, you will find the link on the left menu. where you can learn a lot about Egypt and Dahab.

Dahab is mainly a diving area on the red sea , located 70 Km North of sharm el shie.
the city is full of low to meduim hotels , between 2, 3, 4 star hotels. there is only four 5 * hotels in Dahab.

what is intersting about Dahab is as you said it is one of the most popular places all over the world for windsurffer. it was chosen the best all over the world 2005.

walking on Dahab promonade is a pleasure itself. having the best sea food in the world setting in a very comfy restaurant just by the beach. i after living in sharm for five years i can not find another place to relax but Dahab. it is only one driving from sharm, so it is really easy to go to sharm every night . where you have all the good night life , choices of bars and pubs , restaurants, beachs . Dahab itself has one of the most important snorkeling spots in the red sea , a place called the blue hole, where people travelling from all over the worl to swim there.

Weather is really good all year around even if it gets a bit cold during winter. talking about 17 , 18 degrees.

let me know if you need anymore information and i will be glad to answer all your questions.

xxx

Well, you've got me enticed! About how long does it take to get there from Sharm, and are there tourist shuttles or something for transport? Seafood and promenade is just about heaven for me. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place before!

I'll definitely have to stay there next time I'm in Egypt, it sounds really amazing. I'm a huge fan of water sports and windsurfing so I'll have to check it out and maybe bring some of my friends for a good time.

Thank you for the information. This place sounds so relaxing. I don't know how to windsurf but I definently want to check out the snorkeling. Not having ever been to Egypt yet you guys are making it hard for me to decide where I want to go first.

17 or 18 degrees is cold? I think that is pretty warm myself! Thanks for the information, I wouldn´t mind learning windsurfing, as I tried it years ago. Are there lessons available in Dahab?

The fact that it has diving centers and water sport schools just makes me want to visit even more! About how many days would I have to stay in the area in order to get a "full" experience?

Are you sure you're not a taxi cab driver by night? LOL I realize that buses have to drive more slowly, but to make the trip in half the time! Wow!
