El Quseir

does anyone know of any future development plans in Quseir? I have been offered land near to the new Movenpick resort at a very good price and am very tempted. But I cannot seem to find anything out about whether it is government land or not. I think residential properties cannot be built on the beach side of the road, just business properties, does anyone know?
The land seems to be a bargain, and if future development happens, it would be worthwhile just to sit on it for a while.
Hopefully I will be able to get back there for a good look around just after Christmas, but if I can get more info before I go, it would be useful.

I don't know the answer to that, but I have seen some residential developments on the beach side north of Hurghada.
