hi everyone: I am new to this site and i just wanted to let everyone no a little about me. I am from the united states I live in new york There is alot of different things i like to do I like to travel meet new people I like to read mystery novels I am not married i have 1 son and he is grown and on his own starting a family of his own now I like to swim and shoot pool oh and by the way i am a female and i am 40 years old my job i am a dental assistant and i enjoy that very much i really hope i will meet some nice people here i am looking forward to it

I like to read novels set in different places around the world, as they give you a flavour of life in those places from the local viewpoint.

I read some books by Naguib Mehfouz set was called The Cairo Trilogy, which I really enjoyed, I think I bought those while I was in New York few years back, as his books in English are easier to find there then in UK.

Hi Everyone,
For some reason I lost the site for ages, and as I 'cheat' and log on during my work here in Hurghada, I have missed talking to everyone.

Books - ah the other great love of my life. I have actually found a shop in Hurghada which sells second hand books. When living in the UK I could have started a library but alas was not able to bring my books with me.

Anyone need any help, advice or just want to talk, let me know.

As I said, I am based in Hurghada, 4 years on the 1st October to be precise.
