Well, two days before leaving Antalya we had to visit the travel agent and it wasn't good news.Our tour was completely changed around.Tour Co. blamed Egypt Air and they blamed the tour co. usual thing ' we are not at fault ' who cares we just wanted the holiday.We eventually arrived at the hotel in Cairo at 03-00 hrs.It was supposed to be 5* but would struggle for 3 . Had two nights there and then flew to Luxor.We had a really good hotel there called The Maritim ( formerly Movenpic ) We had one night there and then transferred to the boat.The boat was excellent and owned by Presidential Nile Cruises. It's name is Nile Commodore and everything from the food to the cabins was spot on.We had one night on board in Luxor and we took the opportunity of meeting up with Isis again. ( Good Luck with New Venture ). We then flew from Aswan back to Cairo and the same hotel. Fortunately it was for one night and then back to Antalya.We will go again next year but it will be DIY and not with a Turkish tour Co.

I am happy you enjoyed the cruise Rik..... I have been on the Commodore twice and loved it both times. And it was great to meet up with you both again!! Actually, I left my flat the other morning and walked around the corner to get a taxi, and just as we were driving off, your friend came running up to the car. Apparently he works from the street just around the corner from my flat and he remembered me! So he may just get my regular taxi ride to work if he comes up with the right price!

Hi Hazel. Great to meet up again and our friend is called Fardel. I would seriously doubt that he would Rip you off.In fact he has no chance as you know all the prices. He is good and has been a friend of ours for ten years.Thanks for the offer to help on our next visit. I have the address of South Sinai Tours who were the handling agents on our last trip so we will try them first.If we have any problems I will drop you a text.If you hear anything of interest re cruises please let us know as we may come again this year.

I met up with Fardel the other day, wandered around the corner for a taxi and there he was and he remembered me from our brief meeting. So he drove me down to the boat. He asked after you and said to say hello to you and Elaine.
