I hear that it's very busy during Christmas, Easter and Ramadan holidays.
I assume that there are larger crowds and higher prices in all the tourist areas and not just the sites of religious interest?

prices of accommodation goes higher during X-mas , new year and easter. very busy during easter and new year but not that much busy during X-mas as many European would still like to spend x-mas holidays with their families.

If you want to go to Egypt on the cheap (sorta), I would suggest travelling during an off-season time.

that is very true , specially for availibilites in hotels as well , sometimes it is not really easy to find any.
