What is the best times of the year to visit Egypt?

Or to put it another way when should you avoid the extreme weather and which areas?

I am hoping to plan some trips, just trying to figure out what are the best times during the coming year.

Hi Mushtaq.We have always been late March early April and found the weather perfect.We did go at New Year for the Millenenium and sweaters were needed during the evening.

I have been in early March, cool, April warmer and May lovely and hot, this year it will be July, hoping it won't be too hot lol

Been to Sharm in January, wonderful and hot during the day, but sun goes down early about 3.30 - 4 pm so short days but pleasant at night, Marsa Alam in January was great in the day, but freezing cold at night, and Taba in September was very very very hot both night and day!!! a real struggle to do anything, hope this helps,

I would hate to go during the really hot season. When do you see the most tourists? I would imagine it would be when it is not so hot.

I think in the winter months when it is cooler.

best time to come ot Egypt is October, feb , march , april , early may . otherwise is too hot even for us poor Egyptians . lol

I'd have to agree with Egyptian Sharm...... October, Feb, March, April and early May, but I would also add late September
