Went to the Cairo Museum today, entry fee seem to have gone up to 50LE for adults (Rough Guide has it listed as 40LE)
There is so much there to see, the place is full of antiquities, some of the areas looked like a warehouse, with crates all over the place, don't know if they were being shipped out or new arrivals.
I was looking forward to taking some pictures of the exhibits, but there were signs all over the place telling you - no cameras or phones

although the Rough Guide says you can take pictures if you pay extra 10 LE.
The best exhibit has to be the Tutankhamun Exhibition, it was just amazing, worth coming to Cairo for that alone I think. Pity I couldn't take pictures, but I manged to sneak a few quick ones.

There is also another exhibition of the Royal Mummies, this costs an additional 100LE, not a great deal in there except a handful of mummies, not sure if it's worth the extra 100 LE
