Egyptian Holidays

Hi Mushtaq. We found the Tour Co. in ' Hurriyet Newspaper '. Every Monday they have a travel Section. We used Hey Travel Trends of Istanbul. ( sorry no web address ) They use Sonesta Cruises and are only 5 *. Excellent Boats and first class service. We sailed on The Sonesta Sun Goddess. Our hotel in Cairo was the Intercontinental City Stars. 5* De-luxe and it was.It also next door to Egypt's largest shopping centre which is connected to the Hotel.Mrs M would love it but take your Cards !!!! The Hotel is 10 minutes from the Airport. We had 3 nights there and 4 nights on the Boat and 1 night back in Cairo at The Meridian also 10 minutes from the Airport.following are two other Turkish Co's which do the same or similar tours.

www.cafetur.com

Did you do any of the sight seeing in Luxor?

I didn't manage to go to Luxor temple although it was the closest one, maybe next time.

Also didn't go to the museum either, just didn't get round to it.

What were you favorite places in Luxor?

Hi Mushtaq. We do not go sightseeing anymore as we have been so many times. We have friends in Luxor and do spend a lot of time with them.If we had to pick favourite places I would say, valley of the Kings and Queens. Cleopatra's Temple at Dendarah ( although 40 k from Luxor ) and just walking along the Corniche. Our real favourite is the Nile Cruise. Can't beat that.

Hi No Nem. Don't think there is. If you live in Turkey, just give them a call.If you live in the UK then take one of the much cheaper deals offered by UK T/O.
