Post The Origin Of The Masjid .

The word Masjid in Arabic is defined as '' a place of Prostration , It is also found in Aramic , one of the oldest language in existence . In the Elephantine Papyri ( a large collection of legal documents written in Aramic , concerning the life of the so-called Judahite community at Elephantine ) this word is also found . Elephantine was the Greek name given to a city situated at the southern end of a small island on the Nile River . The word 'Masjid '' was also found on a Nabatean stele ( an upright stone slab ) . The Nabateans were the 6th century Arabs of Edom , who established their capital at Petra . They also spoke Aramaic . From this stele the Aramic of Masjid is defined as a '' sacred pillar ''. The Ethiopian rendition is a '' temple or church , ''

The root of the word Masjid - Sajada . It is translated as '' the prostrating of oneself ; putting the forhead on the ground . Also derived from the root word Sajada is '' Sujuwd , '' a single act of prostrating one-self in worship , A Masjid is any place in which one performs the act of Sujuwd - Prostration in worship or devotion , The plural of Masjid is - Masaajid . Another word used for Masjid is Jaami , Masjad and ... Masjid signifies '' oratory , the place of private worship ; a house ; the place of congregational worship ; or any part of the ground where the body can perform Sujuwd . The seal of the Prophets ( Pbut ) , Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin ( Pbuh ) taught his followers ; Whenever The Hour Of Worship Overtakes Thee , Thou Shalt Perform The Salaat , And That Is A Masjid .

Post What Is A Masjid ?

Masaajid , the plural of Masjid , have existed since the beginning of man's creation on earth . At the creation of the Prophet Adam he went through all the motions of Salaat ( worship ) and the place where he was created is to day the Holy Ground ; Makkah . Prophet Adam bowed down to Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala in total submission , prostration ( Sajdah ) , and gave Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala in total praise . And like him , All the other Prophet and believers of Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala in total did the same .

The House of Allah or Masjid is the proper place to give worship to Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala . He is the only ONE due praise . Masaajid are the main religious buildings of Islaam and usually the most important structures . They are to be considered sacred in all aspects . Masaajid are usually constructed with stone tiles or bricks in the form of a square , in the center of which is an open court - yard with cloisters ( an archway along the inside walls ) . Inside the Masjid is the Mihrab ( niche ) facing Makkah , which marks the direction Minbar from where the Khurbah is given . You will also find in the Masjid a Dakkah where the Holy Qur'aan can be read and a Manaarat where the Adhaan is called .

Masaajid , in general are bases on the Six point star . However , in India and Central Asia , Masaajid are generally constructed on the basis of the Eight - pointed star . The Six - point star and up - right crescent are frequently used throughout the Islaamic world , in geometric patterns as well as structured upon the top of the domes , Why is the Six - pointed star ( symbol ) of Ibrahiym . Utilized as opposed to the Five Pointed Star ? The Six pointed star is composed of two triangles ; the '' in-verted triangle is symbolic of the 430 years bondage of the Israa'iylites which ended with their release from Pharaoh in Egypt . Israa'Iylites / Ismaa'Iylites . The ''upright '' triangle is the 4000 years bondage of the The Ishmaelites

Post The Science Behind The Structure Of The Masjid .

The structure of a Masjid is based on the combination of the Circle and the Square . In the beginning Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala created a state of '' nothingness '' first in order to create '' something '' ( the Hydrogen atom ) . The state of nothingness was created in which Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala could place the 99 elements or 99 attributes . Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala made the '' Beginning '' exist by using the Science of the '' Circle '' and Square , '' Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala took the infinite and formed the circle . Infinite has no ending nor beginning .

Finite , has four points of direction . All points , are the same distance from the center to the line ( circumference ) of the circle and cannot be extended in any direction . Then Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala formed the '' square , The square has four points of direction . Lines can be extended in more than one direction . Then He , Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala took the circle and turned it inside out and placed it within the confines of the square , by first separating the circle into four ( 4 ) parts . Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala cause to merge and form . But because equal the same they both had the same magnetic charge causing them to repel . Allahu Subhaanhu Wa' Ta 'Ala being '' Akbar '' greater than all things seen and unseen , ''

Caused them to fuse . But because of the tremendous force and pressure of fusion , a force made them act contrary to their natural act of repelling . Thus , two distinct '' incomplete '' squares formed . Masaajid in the East are built on a plan of the Six or Eight pointed star . The true Arab knew that a Masjid meant more than just a place for prostration . They were aware that the original Arabic numerals had angles according to their number value .

You can see each angle in the number . This is where the Greek and the Romans derived their number system . The European numerals that America had adopted originated from Arabic numerals . The floor plan for the Masjid courtyards in the East are based Around the combination of the circle and the squares .

Post Al Mihrab

One of the most important parts of the Masjid is the Mihrab The Masjid is a niche on the east wall of the Masjid towards which the worshippers pray . It is a recess in the Masjid that indicates the direction of the Ka'ba . Some well known authors reported that the Mihrab ( niche ) . was taken from Christians Churches and palaces . THIS IS NO SO ; When the Prophets . Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin and his Sahaabah ( companions ) first built a place of prayer they knew where and how to place the stone that marked the direction in which to pray . And then he was commanded by Allahu Subhaahu Wa Taa'Ala , to change the direction from Jerusalem , to Makkah ; this alone should tell you that the authors are lying Later on the Christians utilized the concept of the Mihrab ( niche ) in their churches and other Holy relices , often placing images within it . During the time of the Prophet Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin in the Masjidu'n Nabi at Madinah , a large black stone ( Not The Black Stone In The Ka'Aba Today ) was placed against the northern wall facing Jerusalem . When the direction of prayer for Muslims was changed , the stone was removed and placed on the southern side . This of course , separated the true belevers from those who only pretended allegiance to Islaam . Several persons asked him why he turned his back on the Qiblah of Jerusalem which he used to face when he claimed to follow the religion of Ibrahiym ( Abraham ) For all those that questioned the the Prophet Mustafa Muhammad Al Amin . as to why he changed the direaction of prayer , the answer is with in the pages of the Holy Qur'ann .

Holy Qur'aan 2 ; 142 -145
'' The fools from the people will say ; What turned them from their Qiblan which they were on it . Say ; To Allah ( Is ) The sunrise East and the sunset West . He guides whom he pleases to ( The ) Siraat ( Filament Of ) Those who stand straight before you . And thus we made you a neutral ( Middle ) Nation that you ( May ) Be witnesses on the people and ( that ) The Apostle ( May ) Be a witness on you . And that we made the Qiblah that which ( you ) be on it , Except for us to know who follow the apostle , From he who turns about on his heels and if it was verily great except on those who ( Are On ) guidance ( Of ) Allah . And not was Allah wasteful ( of ) Allah . And not was Allah wasteful ( of ) your faith . Surely Allah with the people ( Is ) towards ) The Heaven . So we will turn you ( At A ) Qiblah ( That ) You ( May ) Be satisfied with it ( Her ) . So turn your face towards the Sacred Masjid , And whereever you are . So you turn your face towards it . And surely those who are given the scriptures , Certainly they know ( that ) surely it ( is ) the truth from their Lord . And he Allah , ( Is ) not neglectful ( Of ) what they do . And surely if you bring to those who are given the scriptures with every verse , Not they follow your Qiblah and not you be a follower of their Qiblah and not a portion . And surely if you followed their desires from after what comes to you from the knowldge . Surely you then are certainly from the one in darkness .
