Post New church between Naama and Hadaba

A new church just finished in Hay el Nour area, which is between Naama and Hadaba on the right as you go towards Hadaba.

Looks pretty impressive, a new mosque is under construction near it too.

That is a really lovely church! Quite different from our Western styles. I would love to see the interior, as well.

Is this a Christian church? I thought that most people in Egypt were Muslim. Do you have any idea how many Christian churches there are there?

I have seen quite a few churches in Cairo, there was even a leaflet at the hotel in Luxor advising people about Easter services at local church.

Although Egypt's population is mainly Muslim, there is a significant number of Christians here too.
